Tiki Girl: Bridal Shower Edition

Bringing you everything Tiki Girl. From our day to day vlogs, exclusive drop details and how to's, you will get an inside look at all the fun we get up to behind the scenes!

This week we are taking you along for Briana's Bridal Shower! She spent this past Saturday with her immediate family to celebrate her special day and her mom, Sandi hosted. As all pandemic wedding activities are trending these days, friends and non local family tuned in on zoom, making this a quarantine friendly event! The bridal shower was even held in Briana's backyard. Here, she transformed it into a beautiful blush oasis!

Briana chose to wear a stunning Reformation dress, along with Mod + Jo earrings and necklace. You can grab her jewelry in-store to get he same look!

Now let's talk decor and DIY's. Starting with the outside, the unique chairs pictured below, were rented from Amigo Party Rentals and really helped bring the setting together. The stunning flower arrangements were from Fleur de Rye. We love the freshness of the roses and daisy's. The blush, white and pink tones really brought a pop of color to the tablescapes. This served as the perfect back drop for some bridal shower games and fun!

Along with flowers, Briana had Ojai Confetti Company create some truly beautiful balloon arrangements. These added that perfect final touch to the yard, with balloons arched over the doorways and floating in the pool.

An easy DIY pictured to the above, was the photo backdrop! Briana transformed a back drop stand by using linen curtains she already had in her home. She even secured it with rocks from her yard, in a ziploc, to prevent the wind from possibly pushing it over. The balloons and florals added the final touch to make this a picture perfect spot. It was great for her to open gifts in front of her family and friends and have photos with family taken.

Moving inside, Briana had a beautiful cake by Cakes by Denise. From the edible pearl details, to the pink frosting to the florals and gold sparkling topper this cake was perfection! The yummy treats were a hit as well.

Along with the food, Briana also set out a guestbook for guests to sign. Her mom, Sandi, set up the guess how many kisses there are in the jar game, for a fun bridal shower prize! Sandi also set up the rest of the bridal shower games you see photoed.

Another clever idea by Sandi, was having the guests address envelopes to themselves, to make the thank you notes so much easier to send out later!

Finally, guests left with DIY goodie bags. Taking a clear cellophane bag,  stuffed with gold and white paper confetti she  filled them with SIN MIN hand sanitizers and the DIY dyed face masks. Briana used avocado pits to get the perfect tie-dye coloration! For a more detailed, step by step guide on how to avocado dye masks click HERE

We hope Briana's Bridal Shower can inspire your future event! As always, check out the blog each week for new and exciting Tiki Girl edits, tutorials and behind the scenes exclusives!
